Christopher G. Caine is President of the Center for Global Enterprise, a New York based non-profit organization dedicated to the study of the contemporary corporation in the era of global economic integration. He is also President & CEO of Mercator XXI, LLC (www.mercatorxxi.com), a professional services firm helping clients engage the global economy.
Drawing on over 35 years of experience in government and public affairs and travel to 47 countries, Mercator XXI provides marketplace insight, experiences, and support to execute client needs in all hemispheres. Prior to April 2009, Mr. Caine was employed by IBM Corporation for 25 years. For thirteen years he had corporate responsibility for global public policy issues that impacted IBM in his role as Vice President, Governmental Programs.
Mr. Caine also served as Director, Human Resources and Environmental Policy for IBM, responsible for public policy issues such as health-care reform, labor, personnel, health and safety, environment, and energy. Prior to that, he was Manager of Federal Government Relations and was Regional Manager of the company’s state government relations programs.
Prior to IBM, Mr. Caine worked for the Coca-Cola Company, the Eaton Corporation, and the Electronic Industries Association.
Mr. Caine has spoken at a variety of public fora on policy and economic development trends involving government, innovation, globalization, global electronic commerce, privacy, and new security challenges. These fora include: United States Congress; National Intelligence Council Conference convened by the Center for Strategic and International Studies: An Open and Trusted Model in Information Technology; World Knowledge Forum in Seoul, Korea: Government in an Era of Rapid Innovation; the World Economic Forum: Improving Public-Private Cooperation to Address New Security Challenges; the Shanghai International Forum: Globalizing Electronic Commerce; the Progress & Freedom Foundation Aspen Summit; the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation; the New York Technology Forum: Transforming Government for the 21st Century; and the Centre for Corporate Public Affairs in Sydney, Australia.
Mr. Caine serves as a senior adviser for technology and public policy to the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). He is a Fellow of the International Academy of Management. He is on the boards of the following organizations: The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation, The Economic Club of Washington DC, The Institute for Education, The Ambassador Theater, and BrainFood.
He is a guest lecturer at Lafayette College and Georgetown University. In the Spring of 2008, he created the Caine Scholar’s Award for Global Leadership, Business and Policy at Lafayette College. It is designed to help develop the next generation of U.S. leaders for the globally integrated economy. He also served as an Alumni Associate member of the Lafayette College Board of Trustees.
Born in Rochester, New York, Mr. Caine received a bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in American Government from Georgetown University.

Lessie is the Global Director of Outreach and Partner Engagement at the Cyber Readiness Institute (CRI). In this role, she spearheads initiatives to educate small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) on the essentials of cybersecurity.
A significant part of her work at CRI involves creating strategic collaborations with large industry leaders. By combining forces, they work towards enhancing cybersecurity readiness among SMBs, thereby securing global supply chains and ensuring the integrity of global trade. In addition, Lessie plays a vital role in working with the U.S. government on initiatives aimed at bolstering cybersecurity infrastructure in developing countries. This collaboration is part of a larger objective to create a more secure digital environment worldwide.
Throughout her varied career, Lessie has consistently focused on promoting cyber security and fostering growth in the industry. Before joining CRI, Lessie held positions at Nisos, a cybersecurity start-up, and an early-stage venture capital firm, amassing considerable experience in the tech and cybersecurity landscape.

Marko Kovacevic, Managing Director, is a respected voice in international decision-making circles. Marko provides strategic leadership and advice, and supports organizations to help them achieve their fullest potential.
Marko is founder of Signet World, a privately‐held business transformation and growth company where he spearheads major strategic transformations initiatives and their integration for clients on global market.
Previously, as CEO and General Manager for Trizma Smart Sourcing, Marko led the company’s U.S, European and international business development efforts while at the same time transforming the company’s added value services, implementing process improvement initiatives, and creating effective product development systems.
Earlier in his career, Marko rose through the ranks of two international NGOs: the Atlantic Treaty Association as its youth Executive Vice-President and as Vice-President of the Atlantic Association of Young Political Leaders. He launched his career at the Atlantic Council of Serbia where he served as Executive Director. Marko also serves on several professional Boards and Strategic Advisory Committees including the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals, Fidelis World, and the Serbian Blockchain Initiative.
Marko is a Harvard Business School graduate where he completed the OPM executive management program as 52nd Generation. He holds a Masters in International Business (MIB) from Grenoble Ecole de Management and a Bachelor of Law (LLB) from the University of Belgrade
